President Donald Trump has issued several warnings to the caravan full of illegal immigrants that is heading straight for the Texas border, yet Mexico has continued to do nothing to stop them. Now, the fed-up people of Texas are taking matters into their own hands to ensure that their state is not invaded.
Right Wing News reported that less than 24 hours after Trump announced plans to send the military in to secure the border, Texas Governor Gregg Abbott sent out a reminder that it’s not just U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents manning the entry points to Texas: he also sent in the National Guard.

The caravan consisted of around 1,200 migrants, many of which are from Honduras.
“Organized by a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or People Without Borders, the caravan is intended to help migrants safely reach the United States, bypassing not only authorities who would seek to deport them, but gangs and cartels who are known to assault vulnerable migrants,” wrote BuzzFeed reporter Adolfo Flores, who was traveling with the caravan. “Organizers … hope that the sheer size of the crowd will give immigration authorities and criminals pause before trying to stop them.”
Former Secret Service agent and Maryland congressional candidate Dan Bongino described this invasion of the caravan as “complete, total, utter chaos.”
“There is a consequence for us, Americans who have to finance this chaos,” Bongino said. “You can’t have a country without borders. It’s just a land mass without the borders.”
Unfortunately for members of the caravan, their efforts to get into the U.S. failed miserable thanks to the quick thinking of Trump and the state of Texas. Nice try, folks, but Texas is not about to go down that easily!
